Aha!!! My second atempt at Pulau Ubin trails. Actually this time I faired slightly better, but still kept my last of the pack title lol.

I have to ride more to keep up with the pack……

Friends suggested to head over to Ubin for a day ride. Thinking that I was Ben the invincible and it sounded rather fun, I said yes.!

On the faithful day, I was so pumped for the ride. Equipment check, helmet – check, hydration pack – check, bike – check!!!

Conclusion, never think that you can beat nature when you are out of shape.

Hmmm…guess what HDB finally decided to give me a slim chance of getting my own place…..Freaking Finally, I must say!!!

After like going through 7 balloting excercise and playing their darn game for the last 3 years. That’s like the longest wait for a first timer with so called “piorities” in the system.

Well the number I got was 721, hmmm that’s why I need the help from just mere mortal. That’s like at lest what, 200 ppl ahead of me? There’s like about 121 houses left to choose.

My “D-day” is on 25 Feb, arggghhh that’s like so long away. Pls leave some flats for me….

So here it goes…dear God, I need your help here. Thanks in advance.

A week has past, how’s my arm? Well, it’s getting better, at lest I think it is. I can move it more freely without feeling a bear is trying to rip it apart or like some phantom sniper just shot me when I try to scratch my head.

Slowly but surely the pain is easing. That’s a good sign right? I can’t straighten my arm yet, I have pen that down in my new year resolution. Yup, straightening my arm….let me write that down.

Joined up a fraternity walk today, organized by my agency. The challenge, Hort park, pass Henderson wave to Marang walk, ending at Seah Imm carpark.

It feels good to be able to sweat a little, after a month of inactiveness.

I enjoyed the company and the walk. Not to mentioned the view.

Arggh….another day of pain. Bruised and battered my arm is, but is my confidence in my super healing process faded?

No! Never! I will fight the pain, take the aches….I will get well! I will get back my arm to scrub my back, wear my shorts, tied those shoelaces and scratch those itches.

Come back to me, my faithful sweet arm.

Just gotten my cast remove yesterday. Goodbye to my “bluey” avatar cast. A sense of false freedom begins. It hurts like hell after the protective cast is gone, should it have stayed?

Nah…on second thought it should be gone, banished like a forgotten son. It served it purpose well and now my real arm should return.

Every movement hurts, every turn, twitch and flick, is greeted with a grim face, followed by a OUCH! Will this get better? Will I recover? I hope for everyone sake it does.

My Ouch!!! for 2009

My major ouch! For 2009, a hairline fracture of my left arm.

Damn….it hurts bad too. So it’s painkiller popping till the end of Jan 2010. Hopefully, by then it heals and I can get my arm out and back from the darn cast!!! At lest, the casting technician….i learn a new profession, hehe, gave me a new cast in Smurf color!!!
